Advokatfirma | meyer hosted our Spring Meeting in Berlin, Germany

Berlin, the beautiful, was the venue of this year’s EurèseaU Spring Meeting from 26^th – 27^th April 2024. Delegates from more than 10 different countries participated at this eventful weekend.

The event started on Friday with a reception by the host firm followed by a great dinner in the office of the host.  On Saturday, the conference started at the Intercontinental Hotel. The Host gave an introduction to the cultural differences between Germany and Denmark. He compares some of the clichés and stereotypes that exist about Germany, Germans and German lawyers to Danish/Nordic people and their lawyers. Thereafter Lisbeth Kirkegaard of Engel & Völkers gave a introduction to the real estate market in Germany.

After an intensive meeting with talks and discussions, all members took part in a group discussion with the topic “People”.

To round off the day, the participants had a guided tour of the German Bundestag in the former Reichtstag Building with a visit of the Dome and the roof terrace. The day ended with a tasteful dinner at the Restaurant Ganymed in Berlin.

On the last day there was an Early Bird Run through the Tiergarten Park to the Victory Column and Brandenburg Gate.

The President, Özlem Odabas Tavares, thanked the members of Advokatfirma | meyer, specifically Hans-Oluf Meyer and his team for organizing and hosting the Spring Meeting.
