25th Anniversary Meeting of EuréseaU in Vienna

The Euréseau Spring Meeting and 25th Anniversary Meeting of EuréseaU took place in Vienna, the capital of Austria.

Vienna is Austria's cultural, economic and political centre with a population of about 1.8 million. Vienna is host to many major international organizations, including the United Nations and OPEC.

Vienna is known for its high quality of life and has been ranked  Number 1 for seven consecutive years (2009–2015) by the human-resource-consulting firm Mercer in its annual "Quality of Living" survey of hundreds of cities around the world.

The 25th Anniversary Meeting of EuréseaU was celebrated in one of the most beautiful ballroom halls of Vienna on the occasion of the 151st Concordia Ball, the traditional ballroom festival of the Austrian Press (Print as well as Digital and TV Media). It has to be noted that Vienna is the last great capital still celebrating the 19th-century ballroom festival era in grand style. Over 450 ballroom festivals are taking place every year, some featuring as many as nine live orchestras.

The Viennese balls are being exported with the support of the City of Vienna in around 30 cities worldwide such as New York, Barcelona, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Rome, Prague, Bucharest, Berlin and Moscow.

Alix Frank and her partner Franz J. Heidinger hosted the 25th Anniversary Meeting of EuréseaU.

The first evening started with a Get Together at the Law Office of Alix Frank in the 1st district of Vienna, where the members of EuréseaU participated in a very diverting dancing class which prepared them with great style for the Concordia Ball on Friday night.

After the meeting on Friday, during which our new members from Brazil "Bergamschi e Bozzo – Sociedade de Advogados (BMBZ)" and Luxemburg “ETUDE KAYSER & LENERT”, Robert Kayser introduced themselves with a very informative presentation, we spent an unforgettable night at the Concordia ball in Vienna's city hall (Wiener Rathaus).

Last but not least, we got to know Vienna better by enjoying a private tram tour completed by a delicious dinner at one of Vienna's typical "Heurigen".

We would like to thank all our friends for the large attendance. It was a great pleasure to host the 25th Anniversary Meeting and we are looking forward to seeing everybody again in Autumn in London.
